Gautham Menon is back to Bollywood together with his second offering. The director tasted a big achievement with his Tamil movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, which he later remade in Telugu as Ye Maaya Chesave. Now, he has adapted the same iconic love story to Hindi as Ek Deewana Tha. Even though he has his personal dramatic and emotional moments, he fails to create the viewers completely soak up in the love tale.

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is a stunning adore tale and Gautham Menon has altered several element such as climax to fit the flavor of Hindi viewers in Ek Deewana Tha. Prateik Babbar’s performance in the primary highlight in it. AR Rahman’s audio, Javed Akthar’s lyrics, Gautham’s tale, MS Prabhu’s digital camera function and beautiful locations are the other highlights in the movie.

Ek Deewana Tha is really a usual love story, which has much needed drama and emotions. Gautham Menon has produced some of the extremely stunning moments to viewers within the 1st half. Genelia D’Souza prefers to act with Riteish after marriage

New Delhi, (PTI): Actress Genelia D’Souza, who tied the knot with actor Riteish Deshmukh earlier this month, says her priorities in life have changed after marriage. The 24-year-old said she will continue doing films but her first preference will be her husband and family.

“Life has become all the more beautiful after marriage. I am excited to be the part of his family. I will continue doing films but now my first priority will be my family. I haven’t decided yet whether I will work only with him, or how many films I will do in a year. But I have to adjust many things in life now,” she said.

Genelia, who made her first post-marriage public appearance in the Capital with husband for the promotion of their upcoming film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, said she is happy to have Riteish, 33, in her life. “Riteish is the biggest gift I have had in my life. He is the kind of guy I have dreamt of. He respects me and his family and I feel this is the biggest asset in a person’s life. Dating each other for the past eight years was an exciting phase for me,” she said.

In Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, directed by Manpreet Kumar, Genelia will be seen playing a tomboy, who kidnaps Riteish to escape her impending marriage with some other guy. “I kidnap Riteish in this film but in real life he has kidnapped me. We play an unlikely couple in the film who eventually fall in love with each other. The film has a unique climax that everyone will be enjoy,” she said.

However, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, which is hitting theatres on February 24, will be the third film together for the newly-wed couple after Tujhe Mere Kasam and Masti. It is in news that Genelia has been ousted from the sequel of Masti (2004), but the actress said, “I haven’t been offered the film yet.”

Actress Bipasha Basu, who spent this Valentine’s Day as single, has revealed that she likes the character and personality of her Jodi Breakers co-star R Madhavan and she wants a life partner like him. The Bollywood star, who previously dated John Abraham, has even requested Maddy to find her a person like him.

In an interview with Rediff, Bipasha Basu could not stop praising her Jodi Breakers co-star. The actress says that Maddy is good at his job and is a great husband and father. He also encourages his passions like skiing, golfing and he is a very confident man. “I want a life partner who has exactly the same qualities as Madhavan.”

Bipasha Basu was rumoured to have been dating Rana Dagubaati ever since she split from John Abraham. But the actress denies the reports. She confirms that she is single and she has decided to find a Madhavan, who is a little younger and fitter. “I have told Madhavan to find someone for me,” Rediff quotes her as saying.

However, Jodi Breakers features Bipasha Basu and R Madhavan in the lead roles. Bips is playing a very contemporary and modern girl who is quirky and funny. The movie is slated to release in theatres in last week of this month and she has lots of expectation from it.

Amitabh Bachchan, who has undergone two abdominal surgeries at Seven Hills hospital, has no other option except to tolerate the unbearable pain. But his pain must have calmed down a bit after he received a surprise from daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and Beti B, who came to visit him in the hospital.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu earns Rs 21.25 crs at Box Office in 1st weekend

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, which opened to a dismal response on Friday, has shown ample growth at the Box Office in India on the following days. The Bollywood movie has grossed approximately Rs 21.25 crores nett at the collection centres in the first weekend. But these figures are not up to the expected mark.

Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer received a good response at multiplexes in big cities, but registered poor occupancy at single screens across the country on the first day. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu concluded the day with collection of Rs 5.25 crores nett at the Box Office on Friday.

But the movie registered 50% growth in collection by grossing Rs 7.5 crores nett at the Box Office on Saturday. The business of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu even further on Sunday. The film added another Rs 8.5 crores nett to its first weekend total – Rs 21.25 crores nett at the collection centres.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan to be discharged today

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent an abdominal surgery at a city hospital, will be discharged today. “He is recovering and will be discharged from the hospital after 11 am today,” hospital sources told PTI.

The veteran actor had undergone the abdominal surgery on February 11 at the Seven Hills Hospital at suburban Andheri. Bachchan had on his blog on February 9 revealed that he would undergo the surgery.

The actor, who has a history of stomach ailments since his near fatal intestinal injury while filming a fight scene in 1982 movie “Coolie”, was operated upon at the Seven Hills Hospital in suburban Andheri. Following his operation, he thanked his fans on Twitter for their wishes and prayers. “Back…!! Thank you for your prayers… your love and wishes never fail… indebted for life, one that I shall never be able to pay back. You all are incredible… thank you,” he had tweeted.
